Bareback Bronc Riding — One of the most physically demanding events in rodeo, requiring riders to stay on a bucking horse for 8 seconds with no saddle and only a rigging handle.

Saddle Bronc Riding — The classic rodeo event, considered by many to be the most technically demanding. Riders must maintain form and rhythm with the horse's bucking motion.

Bull Riding — The crowd favorite. Eight seconds on a bull that can weigh over a ton, with no margin for error.

Barrel Racing — The premier timed event for women competitors, featuring horse and rider navigating a cloverleaf pattern around three barrels at full speed.

Team Roping — A two-person event where a header and heeler work together to rope a steer. A true test of horsemanship and coordination.

Tie-Down Roping — A timed event where a cowboy ropes a calf and ties three of its legs together as quickly as possible.

Steer Wrestling — Also called bulldogging, this event involves a cowboy leaping from a horse onto a running steer and wrestling it to the ground.
